Microfeats: Analyze Techniques

Microfeats are experimental feats we have in playtesting or development (and may well change before they ever get used in a product – or may get cut entirely).

Analyze Techniques

Prereq: Weapon Specialization

Benefit: As a standard action you can attempt to analyze the fighting techniques of a target. This functions as the spell psychic reading (OA) except you only gain information related to combat (such as combat-related class levels, combat feats, combat traits, and so on). You make the Sense Motive check using a special bonus equal to 10 + your base attack bonus (so the roll is 1d20 +10 + bab).

You may so this as a swift action if you score a critical hit against the target, or it scores one against you.

Once you have used this ability against a creature, you cannot learn new information about that creature with this feat for 24 hours.
