Later in 2013 Owen became the Pathfinder Developer for Green Ronin, which began with overseeing producing of a new Pathfinder-compatible version of Freeport, as well as an updated version of the popular Advanced Bestiary.
In early 2014, Owen accepted a job offer to become the an on-staff developer for Paizo, creators of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. In April of 2014 Owen and his wife moved from Norman, Oklahoma to the Seattle area. In 2017, he title changed to Starfinder Design Lead.
